Over the weekend artist and rapper Busta Rhymes was advised to not attend a video shoot. Rhymes was cast in a new drama film set to debut sometime this year, the film called Order of Redemption also starred actors such as Tom Berenger and David Conoly. Rhymes had been advised by police to not attend the video shoot in NYC. The police had fears of public safety. Recently Rhymes has been charged with driving on a suspended license, as well as a past charge of assaulting a former limo driver as well as not delivering back pay. So far these charges have not been confirmed, but Rhymes is on a suspended license for running a red light previously this month. The current filming is to continue without Rhymes in Manhattan until further notice, will this affect his role?
Look out for Order of Redemption to hit box offices sometime this summer.

Busta Rhymes was charged with driving under a suspended license and allegedly running a red light around 5:30 am this morning in Manhattan (Feb. 22) morning.

Ryhmes was stopped and taken into custody. Born Trevor Smith, Ryhmes was charged with driving with a suspended license. If he is convicted, he could face up to 15 days in jail.

Rhymes cant seem to keep himself outta trouble. He still faces charges for two alleged assault charges. These charges are still pending...for more info on his previous charges, check out the news page.

Busta rhymes is facing two assault charges, accused of kicking and punching one of his former drivers, Edward Hatchett, for a dispute over back pay on Dec. 26, 2006.
Ryhmes is also accused of assaulting 19-year-old Robert Lebron, an alleged fan who spit on the rapper's Maybach, after an Aug 12, 2006 concert on Randall's Island. Ryhmes, was labeled by prosecutors "violent predicate felon," prosecutors offered Rhymes six months in jail for the two assault charges, which he rejected.
If Rhymes accepts Judge Kennedy's offer of a third degree assult, the rapper would be required to serve five days of community service, two weeks of youth lectures and six months of anger management classes.
Once he finishes the terms of the sentencing, all charges against Busta Rhymes, 34, will be dismissed. If the rapper violates his probation, he could be sent to prison for a year.
The Police are still attempting to question Busta Rhymes about the Feb. 2006 shooting death of his bodyguard Israel Ramirez.
Isreal Ramirez who was shot and killed on set of Rhymes Touch It (Remix) video shoot. Police believe an argument between rappers in G-Unit's Tony Yayo and Ruff Ryders' Swizz Beatz sparked the deadly shooting.
Police believe Rhymes may have witnessed the shooting and has refused to cooperate. Tony Yayo also refused to submit to questioning until he is charged with a crime.
The Rapper Busta Rhymes rejected a plea bargain offered by prosecutors today (Feb. 20) in Manhattan Criminal Court.
